| Sydney: literally meaning "nauseated." But when it's used as a slang expression, it means "fed-up, pissed off, irritated, or annoyed." |

makan (h)ati is considered idiom rather than slang. You can use the phrase in formal setting as well, makan hati. But it is a good idiom to know! :)
