Cultural Insight
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Fira: Since Indonesia is made up of many ethnic groups and different races, it’s very common for Indonesian people to ask about someone’s ethnic background and nationality in addition to age, so you’d better be prepared to answer these kinds of questions! For example, if you are from the United States, you will say Saya orang Amerika. If you’re from Japan, say Saya orang Jepang.

Outro

Eric: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
Fira: Sampai jumpa lagi.
